Just how I feel...

I’m sorry……

I’m sorry for those that will never get this country.

I’m sorry for those that feel the need to apologize for America’s actions.

I’m sorry for those who don’t understand the value of a hard day’s work and the feeling of accomplishment in blistered hands.

I’m sorry for those who never had a Father or Mother that could and would pass on the ideals that built this nation.

I’m sorry for those who look at blue collar work as something to be ignored or disdained.

I’m sorry for those who will never talk to a veteran as if they are somebody who should be thanked every day.

I’m sorry for those families who miss one of 343 Firefighters who never thought twice about their duty.

I’m sorry for those who have forgotten that day.

I’m sorry for those who have never had the opportunity to call a good man, Brother.

I’m sorry for those that think always turning the other cheek is the best option.

I’m sorry for those who have never seen the flag come down at taps at not feel something.

I’m sorry for those who will never have known a WWII veteran and seen the resolve of an entire generation.

I’m sorry for those who have never sat in the woods as the sun comes up and seen God’s splendor first hand.

I’m sorry for those that have chosen to sell America away a piece at a time.

I’m sorry for those who think their way of life is the only way and are sworn to end ours by the use of terror, bombs, and blood.

I’m sorry for those that have never chosen to fight for something, dust themselves off after being knocked to the ground, and come up swinging even harder.

I’m sorry for those who believe they can quiet the silent majority.

I’m sorry for those that think this country belongs to anyone but the people.

I’m sorry for the man who dares harm my family…in any manner.

I’m sorry for those who don’t get any of this….

  2. Thanks. As one never fortunate enough to know my dad(KIA Vietnam 2 months before I was born) I confess although I am sad I missed out on having him in my life, I understand.

Sometimes in life, there will be those that stand for words and believe in them. Words such as honor, being noble, integrity, and valor are words that many fine Americans have understood for generations.

And I am not sorry to share that 2 of my brothers went on to serve, as well as my husband and now my son.

I am also sorry for those that will never understand this.
